hi friends.

the official release date for the douglas firs first album, "happy as a windless flag", is monday 9th may. it feels remarkable to be able to say this, as the album took so long to finish (largely due to technical difficulties/being broke).

i will post details of how to obtain the record all in good time (cd/tape/mp3).

meanwhile, we have a short run of shows to coincide with the launch:

1. saturday 16th april: sierra metro, granton, edinburgh. fundraiser to save sierra metro.

2. thursday 21st april: the captain's rest, glasgow. album launch 1.

3. friday 13th may: old st paul's, jeffrey street, edinburgh. album launch 2.
